Corn grits also called flaking grits are widely used in the production of cornflakes by the breakfast industry. With its high starch content, it is also used in the production of beer by breweries.

Corn meal (semolina/corn sooji) is widely used by the snack food industry. Apart from this, it is also used by biscuit manufacturers and bakeries to be used in cookies and muffins

They are also used for manufacturing other crisp snacks popular among children such as cheese balls, corn chips, and others.

Corn Grits are used in various bakeries to make sauces, puddings, custards, sweets and desserts, extruded snacks, breakfast cereals, etc.

Corn Grit is manufactured from de-germinated yellow corn, which is properly cleaned & milled to get the desired particle size.

Corn grit is formed from the kernel of the corn. Corn is one of the world’s great staple foods. Corn was ground by the stone mill and passed through sieves traditionally. The processing involves the separation of the fatty substance and bran from grit and preparation in the desired particle size.
